Private courtyard pool construction technology, the pool is not only good-looking, strong and durable is the first choice

Speaking of courtyard pools, everyone likes it. The mountain is not high, but the water is the spirit, that is to say, the water has the aura. As the saying goes, water is wealth, so everyone likes to have a pool in their home, no matter how big it is. So how to make a beautiful and durable pool? You must know the conventional technology, otherwise your pool can only be useless, or leaking, seeping, dirty, and cannot achieve the desired effect.

For the construction of pools in private courtyards, rigid structured pools, also called reinforced concrete pools, are generally used. Both the bottom and the walls of the pool are equipped with steel bars, which are leakproof and have a long life.
The general construction process is as follows:

1. Stake out According to the requirements of the design drawings, the position, plane size and elevation of the pool should be set to the pile position.
2. Excavation of foundation pits Generally, manual excavation can be used. If the water surface is relatively large, machine excavation is also used quickly. In order to ensure that the bottom soil of the pool is not disturbed and damaged, the machine excavation must retain a thickness of 200mm and be manually repaired. Where aquatic planting troughs need to be set, they should be clear when setting out to prevent waste caused by over-digging; the depth of the trough should be determined according to the characteristics of the aquatic plants designed for planting.

3. To make the base of the pond bottom, generally use C10 plain concrete to level about 100mm thick on the hard soil layer, and then pour the rigid bottom of the pond on the leveling; if the soil is relatively soft, you must set the rock cushion and crushing After the stone cushion and plain concrete are leveled, the bottom of the pool can be poured.

4. The construction of the bottom and wall of the pool is designed according to the design requirements. If reinforced concrete is used as the main structure, the formwork must be supported first, and then the bottom and wall of the pool must be tied. Stomp on or pile up heavy objects. To pour the concrete, the bottom plate and then the pool wall are required; if the base soil is uneven, in order to prevent the pool from cracking due to uneven settlement, a rubber water stop can be used for pouring. If you want to use bricks and stones as the main body of the pool structure, you must use M7.5 ~ M10 cement mortar to build the bottom. The grout is full and dense. On hot days, you should sprinkle the water to maintain the masonry in time.

5. Painting of the pool In order to ensure the waterproofness of the pool, before the decoration, the water storage test should be done first. After the water level has not dropped significantly after 24 hours, you can use the waterproof mortar to paint the bottom and wall structure layers. The pool water should be dried and cleaned before painting, and there should be no standing water or stains. The stucco layer should be dense and firm, and no hollowing should occur.
